All these upcoming workshops to support mental health and wellbeing are free, but booking is essential.
ART IN THE PARK
Outdoor pilot sessions
Join Arts Care Gofal Celf’s wonderful professional artists for ‘Art in the Park’ as part of our Creative Communities project, outdoors in Carmarthen. Please click here for more information, including materials required.
8 October 2020: Sketching and mark-making with Louise Bird. No drawing experience is necessary. It will simply be about having fun using basic materials and those available in nature, capturing Autumnal changes… there has even been talk of adding colour with coffee, so anything goes in this creative sketch-book walk.
15th October 2020: Dr Clare Scott will be hosting a ‘Poems in the Park’ session, in which you can explore the parkland together, connecting and creating with words.
Social distancing and safety measures will be in place to ensure safety whilst nurturing creativity.
Booking is essential for these workshops, and we will then confirm your place on the workshops and provide meeting-point details and a list of materials required. If anyone needs access to materials, please request this upon booking and we will aim to arrange individual materials kits, as it will not be possible to share materials during the workshops.
Please note, outdoor sessions in Llanelli have been postponed due to the current lockdown in the town. We will look at providing outdoor workshops in this area, as well as developing opportunities in Llandovery and other towns in the future, in line with government guidance.
Creative Writing anyone??? Get involved in this wonderful series of online Write Well workshops, focusing on Mixed Genre Storytelling. Discover your favourite genre, be that Horror, Romance or Sci-fi, and explore new ways of expressing yourself through writing in this series of workshops with ACGC’s Dr Jane Belli.
