Exciting things are happening in Carmarthen this week: let’s celebrate World Mental Health Day 2019 and the days following together!
Get involved in FREE art workshops, open to all, plus take the chance to see some art work created in recent projects: see our poster with further details.
Don’t miss out on the chance to work with Arts Care Gofal Celf’s amazing artists, all of whom were involved in facilitating our summer projects funded by The Lottery’s Community Fund:
- Write Well – with Jane Belli
- Paper Over the Cracks – with Polly and Juanita
- Summer Sanctuary – with Sheree, Tina, Cassandra and Rebecca (Jackie and her beautiful horses will not be involved this time)
See some of the work created during these projects by adults who have experienced mental ill health and get involved yourself, too. This wonderful opportunity will be a great finale to these projects and will coincide with #worldmentalhealthday 2019.
To book any workshops, please contact Arts Care Gofal Celf on 01267 243815 or email firstname.lastname@example.org, leaving your name, contact telephone number and contact email address. Bookings will be limited to 2 workshops per person initially to make sure everyone has ample opportunity to get involved; however, there may the option of doing more depending on levels of interest.
On Friday 11 October 2019, in addition to the workshops and showcase of work, some organisations and groups will be hosting information stands with details of what they do and things on offer in the community, so pop by and say hello. If you would like an information stand but haven’t already expressed an interest, then please get in touch ASAP.
WWAMH will be hosting an event on Thursday 10 October 2019 at the Quay Centre, Carmarthen. Arts Care Gofal Celf artists will be offering arts sessions there during the afternoon, too.
