On behalf of West Wales Action for Mental Health and Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority we invite you to the next Natural Health Services Network in West Wales. This is a diverse and evolving area embracing a range of health and well-being related activities. The unifying factor is that Natural Health Services use experiences in nature and the outdoors and often interconnect physical and mental health.
Time to Change Wales are asking the nation to take 5 minutes to have a conversation about mental health on Thursday 4th February 2016. Having a mental health problem is hard enough, but sometimes the isolation and stigma can make it even worse. But we can all help to break the silence. Talking about mental health doesn’t need to be difficult and can make a big difference. That’s why we’re asking you to take just 5 minutes to have a conversation about mental health.
Don’t miss out on the wonderful opportunity to work with Arts Care Gofal Celf artists. Express yourself through writing and gain the confidence and skills to build a collection of work to be proud of. The project will take place over a 10 month period with the hope that those involved will be given the skills and confidence to continue writing beyond the projects time frame.
HUTS Befriending service is going to be holding a Befrienders Coffee Morning on 9th December from 10am until 1pm at the Workshop venue. During the event you will be able to find out more about the Befriending service, what it involves and whether you think volunteering might be for you, or it might be that you know somebody who could benefit from the service.
