Adult Education Courses at DACE Swansea University (FREE TASTER) – 14/03/16

DACE Swansea University are having a free taster day organised for Monday 14th March 10am – 1.30pm at Llanelli Library. The subjects of the taster are History (10am – 11.30am) and Creative Writing / English (12pm – 1.30pm).

Natural Health Services Network meeting – 10/03/16

On behalf of West Wales Action for Mental Health and Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority we invite you to the next Natural Health Services Network in West Wales. This is a diverse and evolving area embracing a range of health and well-being related activities. The unifying factor is that Natural Health Services use experiences in nature and the outdoors and often interconnect physical and mental health.

Time to Talk Day – 04/02/16

Time to Change Wales are asking the nation to take 5 minutes to have a conversation about mental health on Thursday 4th February 2016. Having a mental health problem is hard enough, but sometimes the isolation and stigma can make it even worse. But we can all help to break the silence. Talking about mental health doesn’t need to be difficult and can make a big difference. That’s why we’re asking you to take just 5 minutes to have a conversation about mental health.

Arts Care Gofal Celf Creative writing project ‘Write Well’

Don’t miss out on the wonderful opportunity to work with Arts Care Gofal Celf artists. Express yourself through writing and gain the confidence and skills to build a collection of work to be proud of. The project will take place over a 10 month period with the hope that those involved will be given the skills and confidence to continue writing beyond the projects time frame.

Engagement Event For Carers Around Mental Health – 20/01/16

Engagement event for carers around mental health, the event will be used to voice your views on all services currently provided. The event will take place at the Picton Centre in Haverfordwest on the Wednesday 20th of January between 10am – 12pm.

Hearing Voices Support Group – 08/12/15

Our new support group for young people age 16-25 aims to provide a safe haven for ideas and support. We also provide an opportunity to share experiences in a confidential and supportive way. First meeting will take place on the 8th of December 2015.

Pembrokeshire Mental Health Open Forum Event – 08/12/15

We will be holding our next Pembrokeshire Mental Health Open Forum Event on the 8th of December 2015 between 10am – 3pm at the Queens Hall, Narberth. This session will be focussed on Recovery and Mental Health. There will also be a buffet and a pamper session in the afternoon!

Volunteer Befriending Coffee Morning – 9/12/15

HUTS Befriending service is going to be holding a Befrienders Coffee Morning on 9th December from 10am until 1pm at the Workshop venue. During the event you will be able to find out more about the Befriending service, what it involves and whether you think volunteering might be for you, or it might be that you know somebody who could benefit from the service.
