Yes I have depression! No, I can’t just snap out of it.

Lack of knowledge of where to find help and social stigma are the prevalent reasons for insufficient and late treatment, so there is a need to spread the word. Therefore, we designed an infographic on depression in the UK. It contains facts and figures as well as helpful resources such as crisis lines.

HUTS workshop is bidding to bag a massive cash boost from the Tesco Bags of Help initiative. Tesco teamed up with Groundwork to launch the monthly funding scheme, which sees grants of £5,000, £2,000 and £1,000 – all raised from the 5p bag levy – being awarded to local outdoor community projects.

West Wales Action for Mental Health has received funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund to develop a 12 month project investigating the history of St David’s Hospital in Carmarthen.

The Carmarthenshire You Want!

The new Carmarthenshire Public Service’s Board(PSB) wants to know more about what well-being means to you. The PSB are therefore encouraging all residents to complete this survey to get as many views about well-being in Carmarthenshire as possible. The PSB will also be running events and engagement opportunities through-out the summer in communities across the County.
