Are you aged over 50 and living in Carmarthenshire?
Are you experiencing poor housing conditions or having trouble making ends meet?
Shelter Cymru’s Cyngor 50+ Advice project can help.
The Cyngor 50+ Advice project, is a project set up within Shelter Cymru. The project provides advice, advocacy and support to people aged 50 and over with any issue they may have relating to their current housing situation, this may include debt or financial issues, benefit entitlement or welfare rights.
Cyngor 50+ runs four housing advice surgeries throughout Carmarthenshire:
- The Wesley Methodist Church in Carmarthen town centre
- Swn y Gwynt Resource Centre in Ammanford
- Ammanford Pensioners Hall
- Age Cymru Sir Gar office in Llanelli
Please note that if a service user is not able to travel to one of the sessions, the project will accommodate by either arranging a session closer to the service users home, or making a home visit to those who are housebound.
