35 hours (Full time)
Salary-NJC scp 29 to 32, at point 29 -£24,892.

To provide a development advocacy service to promote self-advocacy among older people with mental health issues in Carmarthenshire and awareness of the rights of older people and the principles of the Mental Capacity Act in Carmarthenshire. Applicants will need to demonstrate understanding of mental health advocacy and the Mental Capacity Act.

This post is funded by the Big Lottery under its AdvantAGE Programme to January 2017.

Community Based Mental Health Advocate

21 hours (Full Time: 35 hours per week)
Salary -NJC scp 29 to 32, at point 29 -£14,935 pro rata(£24,892 full time)

To provide community based mental health advocacy for people with a range of mental health needs in Carmarthenshire. Applicants will need to demonstrate understanding of mental health advocacy and to commit to training for an appropriate advocacy qualification, if not already obtained.

This post is advertised for a term of 12 months, with a possibility of extension, subject to funding.

The successful applicants for these advocacy posts will have to complete satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service checks before starting work.

We particularly welcome applications from Welsh speakers for these posts.

Development and Fundraising Officer

21 hours (Full time: 35 hours per week)
Salary –NJC scp 18-21, at point 18 -£10,400 pro rata (£17,333 full time).

To support development and fundraising for the organisation. Applicants will need to demonstrate a good understanding of the issues currently facing the voluntary sector and experience of successful fund-raising.

The post is advertised for a term of 12 months, with a possibility of extension, subject to funding.

Administrative Officer

25 hours (Full time: 35 hours per week)
Salary –NJC scp 14-17, at point 14 -£11,344 pro rata (£15,882 full time).

To support the Manager in the administration of the organisation. Applicants will need to demonstrate the ability to create and maintain administrative systems and an understanding of the voluntary sector.
