age cymruAge Cymru Sir Gâr is the leading charity for older people in Carmarthenshire. The charity’s mission is to improve the lives of older people. We are looking for two enthusiastic and experienced individuals to manage, deliver and support an exciting new Advocacy project for older people funded by the Big Lottery. These are exciting roles speaking to and for older people in Carmarthenshire.

 

Advocate Manager

You will possess first class communication skills, know your specialist area inside and out and be inspired to make a real change to the lives of older people in Carmarthenshire.

You will have experience of successful project management and of training, managing and supporting volunteers and understand the needs of older people.

  • £23,126 per annum plus employer pension
  • 37 hours per week (full-time)
  • Based in Llanelli with travel around the county
  • Welsh is desirable for this post.

 

Advocacy Administrator

You will possess excellent administrative and communication skills, be organised with experience of database systems

As a member of the advocacy team your role will be to support the Advocate Manager and volunteers.

  • £11,054.80 (25 hours per week Monday – Friday) per annum plus employer pension
  • (full-time equivalent salary £16,360.80 based on 37 hour week)
  • Based in Llanelli
  • Welsh is desirable for this post.
