West Wales Action for Mental Health
is a mental health development project, providing a range of services to voluntary groups, carers and individuals who have used or are using mental health services and living in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire.
We are currently involved with over 100 local groups advising on such matters as fundraising, training, local forums, planning and information technology.

Mental Health Act 2007 Training 3rd September 2008
Mental Health Act Amendment 2007: Training for Service Users, Carers and Voluntary Organistions. Wednesday 3rd September 2008 10am - 3pm Ivy Bush Hotel, Carmarthen.
This one day training course aims to provide an overview of the Mental Health Act 2007 and develop an understanding of its implications. Trainer: James Jenkins, (DPhil LLM CSW Cert Counselling FRSA), Consultant in Mental Health Law and Practice.
