Opinion Research Services (ORS) is still seeking service users and carers with direct experience of the services introduced under Part 3 and Part 4 of the Mental Health Measure (Wales) 2010. This is for the Review of the Measure; our client is Welsh Government.
We aim to undertake phone or face to face qualitative interviews lasting about half an hour over the next few months (concluding by 30th April 2015). We would be very grateful for any help you can offer in introducing us to willing participants over this period.
- Part 3 participant: A former user of secondary services who has had an assessment to re-enter secondary care (and/or their carer). We are interested in speaking to them whatever the outcome.
- Part 4 participant: A person who has been a voluntary hospital in-patient or on short-term section within the last two years and who was supported by an IMHA during their hospital stay. We can also interview people who fit these criteria who are currently in hospital.
Please find attached below, information for potential participants in long and short versions. These focus on telephone interviews, but we can be flexible over method of interview to suit individual preferences. We are also able to offer incentives in the form of High Street Gift vouchers and travel expenses (where appropriate). It is, of course, vitally important to involve people who use the services introduced under the Measure and their carers in this important Review.
