WWAMH helps to develop new mental health projects and supports over 100 existing services.
This support can range from project mapping and gathering of evidence of need to business planning and help with applying for funding.
WWAMH works with a diverse range of projects, these include such things as community halls developing mental health projects to work with Community Mental Health Teams developing specific services for people with a particular mental health diagnosis.
Examples of current projects in development are:
- Crisis Services including befriending and a crisis house
- Men Sheds
- Surfing via TONIC
- Arts based community mental health support
- Support groups for people who self harm
- Support for young people experiencing mental health problems
