Welcome to The Recovery Wall
The Recovery Wall is an exciting new project developed by WWAMH in partnership with CVCMedia. The project will use digital media as a means of promoting recovery and well being.
We will work with service users and providers, volunteers and professionals, people who are recovering from mental health problems, and those who can help in the recovery process, to build a collection of stories, case studies if you will, of ordinary people who have shown extraordinary strength and courage on the road to recovery.
These films will help to illustrate the huge impact mental health problems have on individuals and families lives, highlight the range of coping strategies and recovery gateways people find, and address the stigma attached to mental health problems.
They will also simply give people hope that recovery is in fact possible.
We’ve already got the ball rolling, with funding from the National Lottery’s Awards for All.
So if you have a story to tell and you think it might inspire others, if you would like to join us on our journey, or if you would just like to know more about the project, please get in touch!

You Put On That UniformThis film was created and produced by Amy and Hannah for the following for the reasons. "Mental health can affect anyone I never thought I would suffer as I was a very active hard working life and soul and then after a 10 month stay in hospital after having a total hip replacement my mental health journey began. This was in 2015 and my first experience on a mental health ward was in 2016. To vent my emotions I wrote songs, poems and drew pictures. I wrote this poem from my hospital bed" - Amy
