Coming Soon to a Woodland Near You – Tir Coed Drop-in Afternoon 1 October 2019

Tir Coed is holding a drop-in afternoon for potential referral agencies to discuss our project in Carmarthenshire. It will be at the site of our first 12-week course, Mynydd Mawr Woodland Park in Tumble, from 1pm to 4pm on Tuesday 1 October 2019. For more information, click here.

During the session you will find out more about

  • what we will have on offer in Carmarthenshire during this pilot project
  • eligibility and enrolment
  • what happens on a course, including the accreditation

and you will have the opportunity to ask any questions you might have.

There will be a fire, some snacks and some tools like those that may be used on one of our courses. Also, a couple of our graduates may attend to chat to you about their experiences of Tir Coed.

The session will take place in a roundhouse amongst the trees, and there will be signage from the Tumble side car park. We are holding it in the venue of the first course to give you a flavour of what a day in the woods with Tir Coed will be like so you can best share this information with people you may refer. You can also watch our three-minute video.

If you are unable to attend but would like more information on the project, please email Nancy Hardy (carms@tircoed.org.uk) or ring 07476 899544.
