WWAMH Projects: In recent years West Wales Action for Mental Health has helped to develop projects for; self-help groups; drop-in services; befriending schemes; housing; employment; discharge schemes; carer and user groups; resource centres and information services; directories; court diversion schemes; advocacy; outreach services and respite care.
Community Development: If you or your organisation needs help West Wales Action for Mental Health offers practical advice and support to develop new ideas and improve your services. We can help in a number of ways:
Networking: Putting you in touch with other people or groups sharing a common interest and helping you to work together.
Publicity: Helping to promote your organisation with advice on leaflets, posters, press releases and media placement.
Funding: Advising you on funding applications to statutory and private organizations; local fund raising; where to find seed money; bidding for service contracts and helping to put your business plan together.
Starting a Charity: Giving advice and support when you apply for charitable status and helping to plan the best legal structure for your group.
Training: Circulate information regarding local and national training events and helping to organise appropriate training to meet your needs.
Employment: Advice on recruiting, training, managing and supporting staff.
Policies: We can offer guidance on a wide range of policies and procedures. For example; Handling complaints; Health and Safety issues; Disciplinary problems.
Information and Communication Technology: Helping you to introduce, develop or enhance computer systems and procedures, networks and equipment selection. Training staff and users in the use of new technology and advising on potential sources of funding.

Pontydd:
We are a service user group and aim to form a bridge over barriers between mental health service users, professionals and the general public in Dyfed and Powys.  Members are offered training to help them to give talks and run workshops on their experiences.
